Night photograph of a group of about a dozen men in white dhotis and white shirts standing closely together on sandy ground, several holding bright sparkler-type fireworks that throw showers of sparks and smoke. Some wear shawls or sacred threads; a few in the background hold cloth or flower garlands. The scene looks like a celebratory fireworks moment during a Deepavali-style festival at an ashram campus. No one is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance in this frame.
