A seated man in white clothing performs a puja at floor level on a woven mat with a colourful striped rug. His right hand, wearing red and silver bracelets, holds a small dish of offerings and reaches toward a brass vessel. Brass plates and bowls hold flowers, leaves and red and orange offerings, and a brass lamp with a flame sits to the left beside a white conch shell and a brass stand. Brass worship items are arranged on the mat, and the rest of the frame is blurred behind them.
