A girl in a red top and patterned red skirt raises one arm in a playful pose, while a girl in a yellow floral top and dark skirt gestures with her hands. Two other girls in pink and white stand nearby, and a small group of seated children watches from the lower left. Behind them, a raised stage has a red and black backdrop, a hanging lantern, and decorative fabric banners. At the far right edge a partially visible gilded throne-like chair sits beside a large red portrait. A white-clad figure stands at the left edge.
