A photo of children playing with coloured powder on a floor. In the foreground a young girl with dark hair, wearing a dark patterned sleeveless outfit, sits and holds a white cup, her hands and arms stained purple and blue, with a smear of orange on her cheek. Behind her, two older boys sit on the floor with white cups and paint; one wears a striped blue shirt and beaded necklaces, the other an orange shirt. Multicoloured powder marks the floor in pink, blue, green and yellow. The wall behind is orange and red. No a person candidate is visible.

A shaved-headed child in an orange-and-blue shirt with glasses leans in from the right, reaching into a yellow cup, while another child with dark hair in an orange top sits at the left edge. Cups hold red, pink, orange, yellow, green, blue and teal powders, with scattered coloured dust on the floor and a pink cloth beside them. No a person candidate is visible, and the scene appears to be a festive colour-powder activity rather than a ritual.2012-05-02
