Outdoor photo on a dirt site with a green gate, a tree and a silver SUV behind. A bare-chested man in orange ochre cloth stands centre-right, in a rudraksha-style setting with a shaved head, holding a small object and offering it to a barefoot man in a white shirt and brown trousers. A woman in a yellow-and-cream patterned sari with gold bangles watches at left. Beside them is a brass-coloured pot with white garland and yellow flowers, and stone blocks with flowers. Men in white dhotis and orange shawls stand at right and a figure holds a small brass dish. Several onlookers stand in the background, including a boy in a checked shirt and a man in an olive shirt.

A bare-chested man in orange cloth with long swept-back hair and a dark beard stands center, palms joined, flanked by a priest in white dhoti and shawl with shaved head and an older man in white and orange. Two more people stand to the side, a woman in a yellow sari and a man in a pink shirt, both with palms joined, and several children watch with palms together. Before them are stone blocks, a brass kalasha pot with garlands, a plate of fruit and flowers, and orange-and-red garlands on a framed image. This appears to be a puja or bhoomi puja ceremony.2008-04-04April 04 20082008-04-04April 04 20082008-04-04April 04 20082008-04-04April 04 20082008-04-04Outdoor ground-breaking ceremony on dry, sandy earth beside a gate and parked silver SUV, with trees behind. A central figure in a plain saffron-orange robe and a bare upper torso stands with hands extended over a small plate, while a shaved-headed priest in white dhoti and shawl with orange border offers something from a tray. An older man at right in white kurta with an orange shawl stands with folded hands, and a woman in a yellow-and-cream sari and a man in a light shirt stand at left with palms pressed together. Two stone slabs are set upright in the ground, a brass or clay pot with white flowers sits atop one, and red-and-orange flower garlands lie nearby. A tray in front holds apples, white flowers and a small brass lamp, with white cloth spread beneath. Scene suggests a bhoomi puja. Two boys and a man in a cap stand at the left edge.2008-04-04April 04 20082008-04-04April 04 20082008-04-04April 04 20082008-04-04April 04 20082008-04-04
