Close-up photograph of a person in a rust-red robe grinding yellow turmeric paste with a brass-handled pestle on a dark stone slab. Silver-toned cups with turmeric-stained rims sit in the foreground, and a woven basket appears in the blurred background. The wrist shows beaded rudraksha-style malas. No face is visible, and the scene suggests preparation of a ritual ingredient rather than a named ceremony.
