Night photograph of a temple procession in progress. A large illuminated ornate ratha/vahana with a golden tiered canopy and a decorated silver-white elephant figure, its body hung with colourful striped and floral cloth, rises under a fringed white umbrella-style canopy with a lotus-shaped top. Strings of lights outline the arch. Several men in white dhotis and orange-gold cloths stand and sit on the platform, one bare-chested with an orange cloth, another in white shirt and dhoti near the elephant. A dense crowd of silhouetted devotees fills the foreground, and an illuminated shrine-like structure stands at left.
