A photograph of devotees performing abhishekam on a row of black stone Shivalingams arranged on tiered red steps. Several men and women in white ritual clothes sit along the steps; the nearer men hold brass horns and the others have hands raised or joined in prayer. Each lingam is marked with yellow flowers or turmeric. A shaven-headed man in front wears a sacred thread and a vertical mark on his forehead. The scene shows Shiva lingam worship during the event.
