Outdoor photo of a crowd walking across a paved courtyard toward a decorated festival gateway at the foot of a forested hill. The gateway has a red and gold canopy with a banner reading Karthikai Deepam Thiruvizha, and a golden deity murti sits in its central arch. Men in white shirts and white dhotis, women in saris and salwar kameez, and a few children move through the crowd; some carry cloth bags and bottles. Folding chairs are set in rows on the left, and a blank white screen stands near the gate. Palm trees and a tall, rocky, tree-covered hill fill the background under a hazy sky.
