Night photograph of a large black Shiva lingam set in a shallow reflecting pool, decorated with a white cloth draped over its top and a wide band of garlands in red, green, yellow and white around its base. Several saffron-robed priests stand on a red brick stepped structure beside the lingam, with a small ceremonial fire or smoke rising near them. Rows of seated devotees in white clothing sit on the red tiered steps at left. Strings of lights outline the terraces and a lit building stands at the right, with a tree silhouetted against the dark sky.
