Outdoor photo at an ashram courtyard paved with grey interlocking tiles and decorated with white kolam designs. In the foreground a figure in an orange robe and orange shawl sits cross-legged on a mat and cushion inside a circular bed of grey ash, with a brass kalasha vessel beside them and a small dark cloth or book on the mat. Behind them, a row of about five people in white and light clothes sits on mats along the right side. A white van with a painted deity image stands at left, palm trees rise behind, and an orange building at right bears a sign reading Sri Anandeshwar Mandir. The figure's orange robes match the saffron clothing cues of a sannyasi, though the face is not visible enough to confirm identity.2011-02-16A photograph of an outdoor courtyard at an ashram with paved grey tiles and a large circular ring of stones and earth at the centre. A grey-stone bed of small pebbles surrounds the platform. Behind him a woven mat leads to a row of devotees in white clothes seated on a concrete ledge, with a pale-haired older man in a blue shirt among them. Orange-walled buildings, palm trees and a netted structure stand in the background, and a garland hangs on a pole at right. The seated figure has long dark hair swept back and a vertical tilak on the forehead, with eyes closed, appearing to meditate.2010-11-30December 18 20102010-12-18A photograph of a single person seated cross-legged in meditation on a raised cushioned seat within a circular ring of dark gravel and white-and-pink painted floor patterns, set on a paved courtyard. Beside the seat is a brass lamp or cup, and a woven mat runs across the courtyard. Behind are rows of grey stone statues of seated figures, orange-roofed buildings with a small red-trimmed shrine platform and a garland, a covered open-sided pavilion, palm trees and a purple flag on a pole at left.
