Photograph taken through a diagonal wooden lattice window set in a red brick wall, looking onto an unpaved construction site under an overcast sky. Yellow metal scaffolding frames and a pale block wall with lattice openings stand behind. In the yard, a figure in an orange robe stands among several people in white clothing and dark trousers, with a teal tarpaulin and black hoses on the dirt ground. A distant figure stands on the scaffolding. The scene shows building work in progress.

Inside, a small group of people stands on bare earth in front of a white concrete wall with latticed ventilation openings, beneath a yellow steel truss frame. A man in a white dhoti and white shirt stands at left, a woman in an orange sari stands at centre, and a woman in a magenta kurta with light blue trousers and a pink handbag stands in front, with several other people in white clothes around them.
