Four workers lay stone paving on a sandy ground outside a tall terracotta-coloured residential block with many balconies and windows. One man in a yellow shirt, beige cap and grey shorts crouches on the left, while three others bend forward with tools. A man in a green checked shirt and grey shorts stands to the right, and a young worker in a striped shirt bends at the centre. A pink plastic basin sits on the left, and a large green tree and parked white car appear behind them. The scene shows ground-level construction work with sand and cut stone slabs.
