Night photograph inside a temple corridor, with a stone pillar and a row of men seated along a raised stone step. Several seated men wear uniforms: a khaki-clothed policeman with a peaked cap and a second uniformed officer in dark khaki with yellow badges sit beside civilian men in blue shirts and trousers. Standing devotees in white dhotis and shirts, one in an orange shirt and another in a light blue shirt, line the path. Strings of marigold garlands and yellow-and-green festoons hang along the pillared walls, and lamps light the scene.
