Five people in saffron-orange dhoti-style wraps walk in a line, most with bare shoulders, arm bands and headbands; several carry or hold a multicoloured fringed canopy on a long gold-tipped pole. Behind them, a figure in white stands at the top of the steps. At right, a gold-framed arched shrine with orange drapery holds a small deity murti garlanded with yellow flowers, and a red cloth covers a platform in front.
