Photograph of a large outdoor gathering under a covered pavilion with white pillars and palm plants. In the foreground a person with dark hair and an orange shawl holds a silver tray of yellow rice. Seated on white cloths, a row of people in saffron and orange clothing, some in white, sit with palms pressed together, while others sit with banana-leaf plates of food and small cups set before them. Behind them a dense crowd stands, including women in pink and blue saris and men in white dhotis, with a cameraperson at left. The scene resembles an annadan or offering ritual.
