In the centre a person in a dark garment bends low over a mound of straw and earth on a wooden bier, with flower petals and marigold strands scattered on the ground. Around them stand a crowd of men in white shirts and white dhotis, one in a white kurta and a man in a plaid lungi. At the right edge, two people in saffron/orange robes stand with bare upper bodies; one carries a metal tray of white flowers and another holds a tray of pink petals on the left. Bright lamplight and a dark sky surround the scene.2011-01-14February 15 20092009-02-15July 17 20062006-07-17January 12 20072007-01-12Outdoor photo of a paduka procession on bare dirt ground beside trees. On the left stands a figure in orange saffron robes with a white and orange flower garland and a walking staff, facing right, with long dark hair. A multicolored ceremonial umbrella with tassels and a blue bird emblem is held over a framed picture of a seated figure in orange robes, which lies on the ground with flower petals and an orange cloth. Men in white dhotis and kurtas, some wearing orange shawls, stand and kneel around it, several with hands folded in prayer. A small white cloth holds flower offerings on the ground.2007-02-24
