Five women in silk saris sit side by side on a red cloth inside a temple hall with gold-coloured pillars. From left: a woman in a royal blue sari with floral embroidery and gold necklaces; a woman in a teal and navy sari with heavy gold necklaces and many bangles; a smiling woman in a pink and magenta zari sari with a large gold pendant necklace; a woman in a deep blue sari with a red blouse and gold necklace, hands folded; and a smiling woman with glasses in a pink and red zari sari, hands folded in her lap. Behind them are garlands of marigolds and roses, decorated shelves and a lit lamp, and at the right edge a standing person in white. The setting suggests a ritual honouring of women.July 05 20172017-07-05Feb 13 2022 sripuramJuly 05 20172017-07-05January 22 20242024-01-22July 05 20172017-07-05Feb 13 2022 sripuramJuly 05 20172017-07-05August 10 20062006-08-10June 05 20212021-06-05A photo of seven women seated cross-legged on the floor in a circle inside a temple hall with gold-painted carved walls and elephant reliefs. Women in saffron-orange, yellow and magenta, pale green and pink, white with a red border, and a red patterned sari sit close together, several with hands near a brass plate. A silver plate holds banana leaf offerings, fruit, sweets and a cup, and a brass lamp sits nearby. Behind them a green-draped table with flowers and a gold carved screen suggest a puja setting.February 08 20242024-02-08
