A photograph of a large, ancient banyan tree with a dense canopy and many long, grey aerial roots hanging down and merging into thick trunk-like columns. A low curved white concrete border and bare reddish-brown earth surround the tree base, and a street light on a bent pole is visible at left. No people are visible. The tree's sprawling horizontal branches dominate the frame, with a small dark opening at the base of the trunk at lower right.
