A ritual scene in a covered hall with a corrugated metal roof and a brick wall. At left, a fire burns in a pit where a shaved-headed priest in white dhoti and gold-bordered shawl sits before offerings and a steel plate, while an orange-robed sannyasi sits beside him. A woman in a cream and gold sari with a red flower crown and white garland stands with hands folded, and a man in white kurta with a garland stands behind. At right, a woman in a pink shawl and a man in a grey shirt, both wearing white and red garlands, walk forward. Behind them a line of garlanded people in white and green stands, and a tray of marigold petals sits on the floor. A small wall board and a printed banner are visible. No figure is confidently identified as a person.
