On the left, a deity murti with a yellow garment and marigold garlands sits within an ornate silver-framed arched shrine, set on a red-painted mound with a dark serpent-like base. On the right, a man in white dhoti and white shawl stands barefoot on a dark stone walkway with palms pressed together in namaskar, wearing a rudraksha mala. Behind him, a person in saffron/orange robes stands partly visible. Reddish earth and greenery surround the shrine.2011-10-14October 01 20112011-10-01June 30 20102010-06-30December 21 20102010-12-21An outdoor photograph in a shaded grove of large trees. A standing figure in a long-sleeved orange-saffron robe and orange dhoti, with long dark hair swept back, presses palms together in namaskar before a shrine. The shrine holds a dark murti draped in orange cloth and marigold garlands, set within a white arched frame, with a heap of red kumkum or red powder piled at its base. Two bald men in white dhotis, one holding a white cloth, stand to the right at a distance. The floor before the shrine is a dark polished stone slab.2010-11-18 +2 copiesOutdoor photo of a black stone statue in an orange-red painted base, set within a white ornamental arch framed by trees. The statue wears an orange-saffron cloth, an orange turban-like head covering, and two garlands of orange and white flowers, holding objects in its raised hands. Three men in white dhotis and white shirts stand before it: the man on the left has his palms pressed together, the middle man in white with a yellow shawl joins palms in prayer, and the man on the right in a yellow shawl bows with his head lowered. A brass tray with offerings sits on a small table at the base, and a broom leans against a column nearby, with a white wall and a green canopy overhead.2009-12-17July 08 20102010-07-08December 16 20092009-12-16Outdoor photograph beneath a large banyan tree with hanging aerial roots. In the foreground a woman in orange saffron robes and a rudraksha-style bead necklace stands with palms pressed together in prayer, facing a black stone deity murti dressed in red cloth, with a red-and-yellow flower garland and a red cloth head covering. The murti sits on a black pedestal beside a yellow draped canopy with an ornate silver arch. A red-smeared stone platform with a small black bench lies in front. Behind, another person in white clothing stands near the tree. A partially visible figure in white and red appears at the far left edge.2011-01-31
