February 09 20082008-02-09A large indoor convention hall with red floor carpeting, rows of ceiling lights and orange pennants, filled with a dense crowd of seated and standing devotees. In the foreground, a bearded man in white robes and a light blue turban sits on a white-draped seat, his right hand pressed to the forehead of a young man in a green-and-white striped shirt who has his palms joined in reverence. Other men in white and colourful clothing sit nearby, and a fan is visible at left. The scene suggests darshan being given to delegates, though no specific ritual is clearly identifiable from the image alone.2008-02-09February 09 20082008-02-09February 09 20082008-02-09Crowded indoor convention hall with a large audience of men and women in white and pastel clothing. A man in a white garment with a turquoise turban and long dark hair, wearing a red-and-orange shawl, extends his hand toward the head of a young boy in a red shirt who has his palms pressed together. Behind them, a crowd of young people in white and pastel saris and kurtas stands closely, some with hands folded. The man's distinctive turban, long hair and shawl match the page's Swamiji reference, so this is a probable in-person appearance of Swamiji (probable) giving blessing to a devotee.2008-02-09A young man in a blue-and-white checked shirt with a conference badge stands with eyes closed as a figure in white robes and a turquoise head wrap places a palm on his forehead, giving blessing.
