Photograph of a long-haired figure seen from behind, wearing an orange-red shawl over the shoulder, speaking into a microphone while seated in front of a large seated audience of children and young people. Many students wear orange, saffron, white and yellow clothing, and several wear white head cloths. The background shows orange-painted walls and wooden cabinets. A figure in white near the back and rows of seated students fill the frame. June 25 20152015-06-25Photo of a session in a hall with orange-painted wooden doors and blurred seated audience. In the foreground, a figure with long dark wavy hair, wearing an orange-red wrap and a gold-toned bangle, faces the audience and gestures with one raised hand while holding a microphone. Rows of seated children and young women in red, orange, white, blue and yellow garments listen attentively. Appearance-based cues such as long hair and orange-red wrap appear, but the figure is shown from behind, so identity is uncertain.2015-06-25 +1 copiesJune 25 20152015-06-25A long-haired person in a red and gold saffron-toned robe sits cross-legged on a red cushioned platform, holding a black microphone and speaking to a seated group. Around them, many children and young people in orange and saffron clothing sit on the floor, some with white or orange head coverings and beaded necklaces. A small wooden table with an orange cloth stands beside the speaker, with chairs and cabinets in the background. The setting appears to be an indoor hall with white walls. The seated speaker shows a candidate appearance with long hair and saffron clothing, but the cues are not distinctive enough to confirm identity, so the speaker is described by role as a teacher addressing students.2015-06-25June 25 20152015-06-25A seated group of many young women and girls in traditional Indian dress fills a room with orange-lacquered wooden cabinets and shelves behind them. Most wear saffron, orange, white and yellow saris or kurtas, many with rudraksha beaded necklaces and white or yellow tilak marks on the forehead. In the foreground, a figure with long dark hair in an orange-and-gold top faces the group while holding a microphone toward them. A girl in a white head wrap and white sari sits at the right in the front row, and several students gaze attentively toward the speaker in what appears to be a gurukul class or group session.2015-06-25A photograph of a teaching session in an indoor hall. A person with long dark hair, wearing a red-orange and gold garment, sits cross-legged on a red cushioned seat holding a handheld microphone and speaking. Dozens of children and young people sit on the floor before them; many wear saffron-orange robes, and a few boys wear orange turbans, rudraksha malas and gold-trimmed cloth. Behind them stand cabinets, wooden chairs and a red cushioned chair. The figure on the seat has distinctive long hair and a saffron-toned wrap, a candidate compatible with the page's reference to a person, though appearance is only probable.2015-06-25A session in an indoor hall where a long-haired figure in orange and maroon drapes, with a rudraksha-style neck mala, sits cross-legged on a red cushioned seat holding a microphone and raising one hand. Before them sit a large group of children and young devotees in saffron and orange robes, several with orange or white turbans and rudraksha malas, seated on the floor in rows. Some adults stand or sit at the back near white plastic chairs, and cabinets and a wooden lattice partition line the walls. The scene resembles a teaching or satsang session with a speaker addressing the group.2015-06-25A photo of a teaching session in a temple gurukul hall with an orange-painted wall. In the right foreground a person with long dark hair, seen from behind, wears a red-orange cloth draped over the shoulder and sits cross-legged before a microphone on a stand. A young girl in a yellow-green outfit covers her mouth in the lower left, and a boy in a white head cloth sits near the centre. The scene is a gurukul session with attentive students listening intently.2015-06-25June 25 20152015-06-25June 25 20152015-06-25June 25 20152015-06-25
