A figure in saffron-orange robes sits cross-legged on a cream mat on a circular platform of stones and flowers outdoors, with palm trees and a red-pillared structure behind. Beside them stands a large black bull statue on a pedestal, and a hanging red cord is strung overhead. Brass or copper vessels sit on the mat, and the ground is decorated with white kolam-style patterns. Palm trees and a tiled-roof building frame the scene.2010-12-03Outdoors in a temple courtyard, a figure in saffron-orange robes and a beaded necklace sits cross-legged on a mat within a circular ring of white and grey stones and decorated kolam designs. A brass vessel sits before them. Behind is a stone Nandi bull on an orange-painted plinth, a tall orange pillar, hanging bells and palm trees. A shrine building is visible at right.2010-11-06A photograph of an outdoor temple courtyard with a single seated figure in orange robes at the centre, sitting cross-legged on a small square mat within a circular stone ring. The figure has a shaved head and faces forward with hands near the lap. Behind and around them stand a row of ornate stone statues of deity murti and figures, some painted in bright colours, with a tall decorated pillar and palm trees in the background under a clear sky.2010-10-22October 26 20102010-10-26July 16 20102010-07-16A photograph of an outdoor temple courtyard with a woman in orange saffron robes kneeling in prayer on a white mat, hands pressed together at her chest. Behind her stands a red-brick shrine platform with a seated deity murti draped in yellow cloth and adorned with orange garlands. Several dark stone statues of deities and figures line the background beneath palm trees, with a small floral kolam or rangoli pattern on the ground near the mat.2010-10-28November 07 20102010-11-07August 27 20102010-08-27December 05 20102010-12-05Wide outdoor scene at a temple-style ashram courtyard under a clear sky with palm trees behind. A red-and-orange temple structure stands at left and a white shrine-like building at right. Several small figures in light and white clothing sit or stand on the grounds near a raised platform, with a few devotees gathered in the open area. The scene is distant, so individual dress and actions are hard to make out.2010-08-04November 27 20102010-11-27A figure in saffron-orange robes sits cross-legged on a low white platform at the centre of a large circular floor design of white and dark-coloured powder lines and dots, set in an open courtyard with a red-brick building, a tall stone pillar and palm trees behind. The seated person's head is bare-shaven and the orange clothing matches the saffron ritual wear of a sannyasi. Surrounding the mandala are small pale dots and patterned rangoli borders, with a green cloth or mat placed near the platform. The scene suggests a ritual or meditation setting in a temple courtyard, though the person's identity cannot be established from appearance.2010-12-02
