Behind them a tall ratha-style float covered in white and yellow flower garlands and orange drapes is carried by white-clad attendants. Colourful umbrellas with yellow, green and red canopies and orange-and-gold fringes rise above the crowd, and orange flags fly at the sides. Red and white decorative cloth lines the roadside.
