Indoor event in a carpeted hall with a banner reading "Shiva Sutras" and "In your city / You are welcome / nithyananda.org", showing a portrait of a man in a white turban and dark clothing. A seated figure in a gold-brocade robe with long dark hair sits on a white sofa with red cushions, applying a mark to the forehead of a bearded man in a grey cap and cream clothing who kneels before him. Beside the sofa a woman in white with an orange shawl stands, and a kneeling woman with dark hair in a beige top is in the foreground. Several onlookers stand along the left wall, including a young man in a green t-shirt and jeans. A white cloth covers the floor, with a tray of flowers and fruit in front, a blue and white bird-shaped backdrop, and potted plants on the right. Probable Swamiji (long dark hair, gold-brocade robe, seated on a central throne-like sofa with a distinctive dark mane) is performing the forehead blessing.2006-03-17A photograph of a small hotel meeting room set up for a Shiva Sutras event. A long-haired man in a cream and gold embroidered garment sits on a white sofa with a red cushion, receiving an offering from a bald man in a dark shirt who kneels on a white cloth. Behind them a banner reads Shiva Sutra and nithyananda.org, with a portrait of a smiling bearded man in a white turban and robes. A woman in an orange shawl and white kurta stands nearby, with several standing onlookers at left, and a brass tray with flowers lies at the foreground. Swamiji (probable): the seated man has long swept-back hair and cream and gold ornate clothing, matching the page's identification as Paramahamsa Nithyananda Paramashivam at the event. The scene shows a devotee offering a tray during the discourse.2006-03-17March 17 20062006-03-17A photograph of a seated man with long dark hair wearing a cream embroidered silk kurta and gold-trimmed white dhoti, a bindi on his forehead, placing a hand on the bald head of a kneeling man in a dark grey shirt and khaki trousers with a black belt. Swamiji (probable): the seated man has long swept-back hair and a cream ceremonial garment with gold embroidery, consistent with the page; the kneeling man is a devotee receiving a blessing. Behind them a red and white banner reads SHIVA SUTRAS with a partial portrait wearing a white turban and rudraksha-style adornment.
