Photograph of an indoor ritual session with a seated central figure on an ornate silver throne with red cushions, wearing a rust-red dhoti-style garment, a pink and white flower garland, long dreadlocked hair and a yellow-white tilak. He raises one hand overhead while touching the head of a young child in an orange garment who kneels before him. Behind them, a second figure in orange stands near the throne. On the right, a long-haired person in an orange wrap and beaded necklace is seen from behind. A row of seated participants in orange and white clothing fills the background room. Striped multicolour floor mats, potted plants, a standing fan and a bottle of water surround the scene.

He raises his right hand to touch the head of a kneeling devotee with long dark hair, who bows forward with a white cord wrapped around the head. Behind them, shirtless young men in saffron-orange cloth wear rudraksha malas and a sadhu stands in a white-marked forehead pose. A gold-leaf backrest, red cushions, a microphone and a fan are visible, with flower petals on the seat. The scene suggests a blessing or initiation at a dais.2017-08-07A seated man with long swept-back dark hair, a full beard and a saffron-orange shawl over rust-brown robes sits on an ornate red and white throne before a gilded deity murti with a trident-like figure above. He wears a white flower garland and a rudraksha mala, and he places his right hand on the head of a young boy in white clothes standing before him. Another man in a saffron dhoti with rudraksha beads and a bangle stands at left holding green leaves, a second boy in white stands at far left, and a woman in red and gold is partly visible at right. Green leaves, a brass lamp stand and a kalasha are arranged around the dais, with red draped curtains behind. The setting looks like a blessing or darshan at a temple dais. Behind them, women in orange, maroon and red saris sit or stand in a golden temple setting; a handheld microphone is visible and a fan stands at the left.
