Photograph of a festive gathering under a white tent with red and white decor. Women and a man in the foreground hold up large printed cutouts: on the left, a cutout of a smiling man in a red-orange turban, red-orange robe, beaded rudraksha-style necklace and gold chain, holding a staff; on the right, a golden deity murti of Murugan-style figure with a tall crown and spear-like staff. Behind them, people raise ornate peacock-feather and colourful umbrella-style standards, and a man at right holds a red-and-white striped flag. The mood is celebratory with smiling faces and processional decorations.

Central to the scene is a large printed portrait on a board, showing a man in a red turban, orange-red dhoti and sash, with a rudraksha-style mala and gold necklace, holding a staff; it is a printed picture, not a physical person. Bystanders in front, some with vibhuti marks, watch closely, and a lit pink temple-style structure with string lights stands behind. The page does not state a person was present, and the portrait's appearance is not a clear enough basis to identify anyone, so no identification is made.2016-05-09 +1 copiesMay 09th 20162016-05-09December 31 20182018-12-31 +1 copiesDecember 31 20182018-12-31April 22 20162016-04-22April 22 20162016-04-22Night procession on a decorated palanquin-style float with a golden canopy festooned with white flowers and multicoloured fringe.
