Night photograph of a pada puja at an outdoor shrine. A deity murti stands centred on a silver-framed arch, draped in garlands of yellow, orange, red and white flowers, with a multicoloured canopy above it. A white silk cloth covers the platform, with a silver kalasha, brass lamps, incense sticks and offerings in front. On the right, a seated priest in a white turban and white dhoti, with a bare upper body and beaded necklaces, performs the worship while smoke rises around him. A tree stands on the left in darkness, and one partly visible person sits at the far left edge.

Night photograph of a pada puja at an outdoor shrine. A shaved-headed man in white ritual dhoti and white turban, with a gold-edged white shawl and beaded necklace, stands at left holding a silver tray and offering to a deity murti. The murti is decorated with yellow, red and white flower garlands and sits in an ornate silver arch backdrop under a red and gold ceremonial umbrella. Its white cloth-draped platform holds bananas, coconuts, fruit, a kalasha, brass lamps, a decorated pot and a plate of flowers. Two onlookers in white and pink shawls stand at right beside evergreen shrubs.2011-12-12December 12 20112011-12-12December 12 20112011-12-12December 12 20112011-12-12 +1 copiesDecember 12 20112011-12-12December 12 20112011-12-12December 12 20112011-12-12December 12 20112011-12-12December 12 20112011-12-12December 12 20112011-12-12 +1 copiesDecember 09 20112011-12-09December 12 20112011-12-12 +1 copies
