A brass vessel sits on the ground in front of them. To the left, a black Nandi bull statue wrapped in white cloth and yellow-red garlands sits on a white pedestal. Behind, white-walled buildings, a bamboo fence and stacked firewood stand beside rows of small grey figurines. The scene reads as a quiet meditation or puja setting.2010-07-24September 12 20102010-09-12October 31 20102010-10-31 +1 copiesOutdoor temple scene in a sandy courtyard with palm trees and a low white wall behind. In the foreground at right, a person with long dark hair wearing a lavender-purple garment and a long orange-and-yellow flower garland sits cross-legged on a low wooden seat inside a circular raised platform, with a brass kalasha-style vessel and small brass bowl before them, a pattern of white and coloured rangoli dots around the rim. At left stands a black Nandi bull statue draped with white cloth and garlands, on a red-orange plinth beside a red pillar. Four men in white dhotis and white shirts stand in the middle distance near two drums, one drum on the ground. The person in purple matches the page's a person reference only by setting, and the appearance cues (long hair, purple robe, garland) are not distinctive enough to confirm an identity.2010-12-28October 07 20102010-10-07September 12 20102010-09-12Outdoor ritual scene in a temple courtyard with palm trees and stone sculptures. A large black stone Nandi bull wearing a red flower garland sits on an orange plinth at right. Several people in white dhotis, some with yellow shawls, sit on the ground and on mats around the courtyard, and a man in a yellow shawl kneels at the pit's edge. A painted banner with a devotional image stands at left, and a white kolam floral design is drawn on the ground.2010-09-08October 31 20102010-10-31 +1 copies
