Photograph inside a temple hall with grey stone pillars and carved ornamentation, flat-screen monitors on the walls, and a floral garland hanging at the left. A man in an orange saffron robe with long, swept-back dark hair and a heavy gold necklace stands centre with hands clasped, smiling; he is a probable Swamiji candidate given his long hair, saffron clothing and gold necklace. Beside him to the left, a bare-chested man in an orange wrap and white dhoti with a white sacred thread and a white tilak stands with hands clasped. To the right, a man in a green-and-yellow silk dhoti and a bare-chested man in a beige shawl with a white dhoti are conversing. At far right, a man in a grey shawl and white dhoti stands beside an older attendant. A woman in grey clothing stands in the background near a brass vessel and a deity murti with floral garlands.

A woman in the centre wears a saffron-orange robe and a long gold-coloured necklace, with long dark hair swept back; she has a distinctive ornate look, but her appearance is not enough to confirm any identity, so this is described only as a woman in orange. Men flank her in casual shirts, a yellow scarf, a pink hoodie and a blue polo, with one man in an orange-red shawl and white dhoti at left.2006-03-23March 23 20062006-03-23A night procession moves through a stone-pillared temple corridor, lit by hanging lamps, with a bright shrine entrance ahead and stalls with colourful goods at right. In the foreground, a man in white dhoti and shawl with gold border, wearing a rudraksha mala and a gold pendant, walks forward holding a small torch. Behind him, several men in saffron-orange robes with gold-bead malas and pendants walk in a line, one with a tall crown-like headpiece, and others in white dhoti with gold borders. Onlookers stand along the side. The scene shows ordinary temple ritual movement rather than a clearly identified individual.2012-05-07A photograph inside a temple hall with polished stone floors and pillars. In the centre, a young man in a saffron-orange garment with a gold-coloured headband and gold-bead necklace stands with palms pressed together in anjali. Beside him on the left, several men in saffron robes also hold their hands joined, some wearing rudraksha malas and gold necklaces. Behind them, men in white dhotis and shirts stand with hands folded, one holding prayer beads, and a golden gate and altar area are visible in the background.2012-05-07July 24 20122012-07-24Photograph inside a temple hall with a red and white floral garland swag strung across the ceiling and carved pillars at left. In the foreground a bare-chested man with wet hair and white vertical tilak marks on his forehead holds a tray of red fruit. Behind him a man with long dark hair wears an orange saffron robe and a gold chain necklace, smiling. To the right a shaved-headed man with a white tilak and a pearl necklace, bare-chested, wears a green and orange dhoti and stands beside a tall stainless steel kalasha vessel. Another man in a dark suit stands in the background. Several other people are partially visible at left.2006-03-23A dimly lit temple corridor with stone pillars. In the centre, a figure in an orange saffron robe and a flower garland stands among men in white dhotis. The figure has long dark hair swept back and a rudraksha-style necklace, and is smiling toward someone off-frame. On the left, a bespectacled bare-chested man in a white dhoti and a chain necklace stands looking toward the camera. Behind, a bare-chested older man in a white dhoti and a white shirt stands near a stone pillar. On the right, a young man in a white dhoti holds a small bundle of leaves, and another man in an orange cloth stands behind him. The page indicates this is a person event, and the orange-robed figure's long hair and saffron robe are consistent with that, though the appearance is not fully certain.2006-11-09December 04 2006 - Karthikai Deepam, Tiruvannamalai2006-12-04
