A photograph of a crowd seated at a night ritual, with a woman in the centre wearing a pale yellow and light blue sari and gold bangles, raising a tall brass lamp (deepam) above her head. Beside her, a man in white dhoti and bare chest holds another brass lamp, and a dark stone pillar or lamp base stands nearby. Other devotees, some shirtless with ash or tattoos, sit in the background among brass vessels.

Several devotees in white dhotis and white garments sit in rows, each pouring water from a long brass vessel onto black stone shivalingas placed on black yoni-peetha bases. Brass pots and oil lamps sit between the lingas, and a few flames glow in the background. In the foreground an older man with long grey hair tied up and a younger bare-chested man with a rudraksha mala and red-and-green beaded bracelets hold the vessels. Seen from the side, a few other figures in white are visible in the distance.2016-12-11 +1 copiesDecember 19 20162016-12-19December 11 20162016-12-11 +1 copiesDecember 11 20162016-12-11 +1 copiesDecember 11 20162016-12-11 +1 copiesDecember 06 20162016-12-06December 06 20162016-12-06December 11 20162016-12-11 +1 copiesDecember 17 20162016-12-17December 09 20162016-12-09 +1 copies
