A bare-chested man with a shaved head sits cross-legged on an ornate gold throne with red velvet cushions. He wears an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl, a dark rudraksha mala with a gold pendant necklace, gold bangles, and a white vibhuti forehead mark with a tilak, plus a small earpiece. A large golden deity murti with a trident-like staff and garlands stands behind him. A water bottle sits on a table at right. The page notes a Madurai Aadheenam coronation context, but the visible figure's appearance is not sufficiently distinctive to confirm identity, so the seated man is described by role as a seated presiding figure. Golden decorative panels frame the throne.

A seated Hindu religious figure sits on an ornate gold-and-red throne in front of a large painted deity murti. He is bare-chested with a saffron-orange wrap draped over his legs, wears a rudraksha mala and a gold chain, gold bangles, and a white vibhuti marking with a red dot on his forehead, and smiles while reading a sheet of paper in both hands. A kamandalu-like bell-shaped object is held by the deity figure behind him, which holds a golden mace and wears a red and orange garland. Behold a water bottle sits on a side table at right. The seated figure is the only physical person visible, and his appearance is consistent with the page's named pontiff, so the probable identity is noted here: a person, seated on the throne and reading.2012-04-27A seated man sits on an ornate gold throne with a red velvet cushion in front of a painted backdrop of a large deity figure with orange skin, a garland and a staff.
