In the foreground a man in a white shirt and white dhoti crouches at the flames, placing offerings. Behind him a woman in an orange sari with a gold necklace stands beside a sadhu in orange robes with a rudraksha mala. Other men in white shirts and white dhotis, some with red shawls, stand in a line; one holds a brass bowl and another a small brass vessel. A coconut sits on the ground near a woven mat and a white cloth. Marigold petals and orange flower offerings are scattered on the ground.2011-01-14January 29 20102010-01-29January 29 20102010-01-29December 30 20082008-12-30Night-time outdoor photo at a ritual site on bare ground strewn with straw. On the right, a bare-chested man in a white dhoti holds a tray or vessel and another man in orange with a rudraksha mala stands nearby. Several people in white clothes stand behind them under a strip of multicoloured prayer flags. Bright flash glare sits on the centre.2011-01-14November 21 20102010-11-21
