Outdoor tableau on a raised stage under large shade trees beside a building with a blue Kannada signboard. Three life-size painted figures sit on a blue-draped platform: a figure in a pink patterned shawl with a tall crown seen from behind, a central figure with a lion-like painted face, orange-red mane, gold crown and beaded multicolored garment, and a figure in a red, gold and purple beaded costume with dark hair and a jewelled necklace. These are statues or decorative figures, not living people. Behind them a white backdrop and yellow columns frame the scene.
