A satsang scene inside a dark-walled hall with a large ornate golden throne at right. A man seated on the throne wears a saffron-orange dhoti and matching shawl, a long red-and-white flower garland, and a rudraksha mala; he raises a small brass handbell in his right hand. Around a gold tray-laden low table, about ten people sit on the floor: women in orange, red and white saris, a shaved-headed man in white with a tilak, and a man in white with a red-bordered cloth. Brass plates hold flowers, kumkum and offerings, and brass oil lamps and hanging bells surround the throne, with a peacock-feather fan behind it. Probable Swamiji (probable): the seated figure wears long swept-back hair, a saffron shawl with ornate clothing and a rudraksha mala, and is the central figure in a ritual setting.
