A man with long dark hair, wearing an orange saffron robe and a dark rudraksha mala, smiles while placing his right hand on the head of a young boy in a white shirt and blue vest who stands with palms pressed together in namaste. An adult man in a white shirt stands beside them with hands folded. On the right, a monk in orange robes holds an orange cloth tray with gold-coloured items. Several panels show a long-haired figure in saffron-orange robes and a yellow-and-red marigold garland seated on an ornate golden throne, with a red-and-gold backdrop and a dark wooden plaque behind. In the panels, a woman in an orange-striped sari with a red bindi presses her palms together, a man in a white shirt bends forward touching the seated figure's head, another devotee in white touches the figure's hair, and a close-up shows hands placing hair in a bowl as a person in white kneels with a rudraksha mala. Some panels show an apparent ritual application of coloured powder on the head. Panels are separated by white borders and a photo credit appears in the bottom corner.2010-08-15A photograph of a devotional blessing at an ashram setting. A woman in an orange sari with a white flower garland stands center, smiling, as a robed figure in orange and white places a hand on her head. To the left, bald men in white clothing stand with hands pressed together in namaste, and a young man in white is nearby. Behind them are wooden railings and a red-and-white painted wall. No candidate is confidently identifiable from appearance, so the robed blessing figure is described by role only.2010-08-30
