Outdoor sports event on a dusty ground, with a long rope being pulled in a tug-of-war. Women in white ashram-style clothes, several with yellow and blue sashes or shawls, grip the rope, and a woman in white with a red sash leads the line. A man in white shirt and trousers with a lanyard and a beaded necklace stands at left, watching. A row of seated and standing participants in white and blue lines the field, and a red flag flies on a pole. An unfinished concrete building and trees form the background under a hazy sky.
