A dense street crowd in a small Tamil town fills the frame, with many people carrying offerings on brass plates and in clear packaging. A woman in a pink-and-teal saree in the foreground holds a plate of fruit with a red flower, and a girl in a white dress holds a tray of green coconuts and fruit. Behind them, people in white and colourful clothes press forward. Palm trees, a thatched-roof shop and a water tank line the road. A red-and-gold umbrella or palanquin canopy is visible in the distance. No identifiable a person figure is visible.
