In the foreground, a group of men in orange robes and rudraksha malas sit cross-legged on the floor before small brass puja plates, lamps and offerings, some with hands raised in mudra. Several men in white dhotis sit beside them, and a long row of younger boys in maroon and red robes sits in front, many chanting or gesturing. Behind them, more people sit and stand in white and orange clothing, and a golden shrine structure and orange-draped seats appear at the sides.2013-01-03Wide view of a large hall during a pada puja-style ceremony with many seated participants on orange and red mats. In the front left, two saffron-robed monastics sit with orange garments, one wearing a marigold garland and a rudraksha mala; the foreground shows men in white dhotis and shawls with rudraksha malas, seated before brass thalis, small oil lamps and offering plates. Vibrant woven hangings in red, orange and blue line the pillars and ceiling of the bright hall, with a decorated altar area visible at the far end. The surrounding crowd is seated in rows, mostly in white ritual clothes.2010-10-21January 24 20132013-01-24A large indoor hall filled with many seated devotees on mats, most in white or light clothing, some in saffron or orange. Foreground figures sit with hands folded in anjali and eyes closed, while a row of oil lamps glows on the floor. Decorative hanging banners with orange tassels and colourful patterns line the ceiling, and a sunbeam streams in from the right. At the far front, a figure in orange robes is partly visible near a dais. A printed caption-free photo; the seated audience is the main subject.2011-01-23
