Several seated people in plastic chairs sit under a tree line on the right, some wearing green head coverings. Stone steps lead up on the right side. Dark night setting with scattered lighting.

Six people walk in a loose line: a man in saffron robe with long hair on the left, a woman in a yellow sari, a woman in a white and green sari, two men in white dhotis with red shawls, and a central man in a long orange robe with a white headband. Another man in an orange dhoti with a white cloth in hand and a man in white with a red shawl follow at right. A lit fluorescent light sits under a covered porch and a tree trunk stands at right.2009-01-29A dim night photograph of a small group walking along a paved path beside a gated wall, lit by a warm spotlight on the ground and a bright lamp near a parked car. Several men in saffron-orange robes and shawls walk in the centre, with a few men in white kurtas and dhotis, some carrying yellow cloths, at the edge of the frame. Trees and a lit doorway sit behind them. The faces and any distinctive features are too dark and blurred to make out clearly, so no individual can be confidently identified.2010-02-03September 08 20112011-09-08September 28 20172017-09-28A night-time photograph of a group walking along a dirt path beside a low concrete building with a lit doorway and a small illuminated lamp under the eaves. A large leafy mango tree overhangs the scene, and a red-and-white striped temple wall stands behind. In the centre, a woman in a green and purple silk saree with gold border walks with several people in saffron-orange robes, one holding a white plastic shopping bag. A man in a white dhoti and shirt walks at the front, and another bare-chested older man with a pink towel over his shoulder follows on the right. A small yellow-and-black notice board hangs near the doorway.2009-01-14November 25 20092009-11-25Night-time photograph of a dirt courtyard beside a white building with a red painted lower band and string lights along its roof edge. Several men in white dhotis and shirts stand in a loose line. In the centre, a man in an orange robe and shawl stands facing right, with a brass vessel in one hand. To the right, another figure in orange robes with a red sash stands with hands folded, back partly turned. Two men at the centre wear yellow shawls over white clothing, and one wears a red scarf. Scaffolding, a stone slab and gravel pile are visible in the background among dark trees with green lighting.2009-08-03Night outdoor photo on grass under dark trees. A seated figure in a saffron-orange robe with long dark hair sits on a low folding chair with bare feet, hands pressed together in greeting and smiling. Before him, a man in white shirt and white dhoti kneels on the grass with hands joined, a red flask and a small bunch of flowers beside him. Around them, about six standing men in white shirts and dhotis and a woman in a beige salwar with an orange dupatta watch; one man on the right holds a white cloth over his shoulder, and another man sits cross-legged at the far right. The orange-robed figure is a probable Swamiji by appearance: long hair, saffron robe and a seated position of honour, with a kneeling devotee before him. Ordinary white-clad devotees are present around him.2008-11-13A night-time outdoor ritual on a stone-paved courtyard lit mainly by a few lamps and a distant lit doorway. Two central figures sit on an orange-red mat facing each other: one in an orange robe with a rudraksha mala and a hair band, the other in orange with a long rudraksha mala and a garland, hands raised in gesture. Around them seated and standing devotees wear white dhotis and shirts, some with saffron shawls and gold chains. A man on the left raises a decorated fan or ornament, an older man in white holds a round green-and-gold plate, and uniformed police officers stand at the edges. The scene suggests a devotional ceremony or satsang in an ashram or temple compound.2012-05-21
