A seated figure sits on an ornate gold throne with carved lion-like armrests and a raised red-cushioned seat, set against a warm orange-and-yellow painted backdrop of red trees and hills. The figure wears a red and orange turban with a small ornament, a white dhoti with gold border, an orange shawl draped over the shoulder and a beaded rudraksha-style necklace, with one hand raised in a gesture and the other resting on a book. Two peacock-feather arrangements stand beside the throne, and a tall brass lamp with a rooster-topped finial stands at right. Small lit oil lamps and flower offerings sit on the carpet beneath a decorative stand with H and A letters. Swamiji (probable): the turban, orange shawl, rudraksha necklace and throne suggest the presentation and seated role of Swamiji, but the appearance is only partly clear.
