Beside him, a young man in a beige shawl and rudraksha-style beads sits on the floor, and at right a performer in a gold crown and orange dhoti with white beaded garland holds a microphone. Seven men sit cross-legged on a white marble floor in a semicircle. The leftmost man holds a long wooden staff and wears a brocade vest over white clothes with a beaded necklace. Several men wear white dhotis with golden shawls and garlands, and one wears a red and green embroidered garment. The man on the far right wears a golden crown and a golden shawl over white clothes, and a man beside him gestures with raised hands. A man in a purple shawl sits on a blue chair at the back right. Strings of small lights line the low stage edge. The scene suggests a staged dramatic reenactment.2009-10-17December 29 20082008-12-29October 09 20082008-10-09December 24 20082008-12-24A stage performance in front of a dark blue draped curtain. A seated man in a gold crown and gold silk dhoti and kurta, with a red and yellow flower garland and dark wavy wig-like hair, holds a handheld microphone to his mouth while touching his ear with his other hand. Standing at left, a figure in an orange robe and orange dhoti with a white flower garland and a pink sleeve holds a microphone toward him, facing him. Both are barefoot on a grey stage floor. The seated actor appears costumed in royal attire rather than in any identifiable role of a real person.2010-09-08October 24 20122012-10-24
