In the centre a man in a white kurta wears an orange shawl, a rudraksha mala and glasses, walking with his hands near his waist. Beside him a man in white raises a video camera overhead, and a woman in a beige sari with an orange shawl and lanyard stands at right. Around them are many men in striped and blue shirts and a child. Behind the crowd stand thatched huts, a tree, and a tall pole flying an orange flag.2008-06-09March 03 20072007-03-03December 15 20062006-12-15December 15 20062006-12-15September 17 20062006-09-17September 17 20062006-09-17December 25 20062006-12-25Outdoor gathering on dry ground under palm trees, with a hillside behind. In the foreground right, a person seated with bare upper back and an orange robe, wearing a red-and-white flower garland and a hand raised to the head, faces a crowd. A white cloth canopy is strung on bamboo poles over a wooden platform, with marigold-type flower garlands and offerings at its base. Many men in white shirts and white dhotis, some in orange and red waistcloths, stand close together, with women in saris and a small child visible. Orange flags flutter at upper right, and a microphone stand and speaker sit at the platform edge. Several white vans and parked vehicles appear in the background, along with a pink banner.2006-11-13
