Dusk view of a temple procession under a corrugated metal roof with a tall coconut palm frond at top. A tall wooden ritual pole or dhvaja stambha stands centre, and a lit oil lamp or flame burns on a garlanded platform at right, its wreaths of red flowers visible. At left a large drum with hanging metal tassels and a person wearing a dark red headwrap and beaded necklaces stands in the foreground, partly visible. Blue evening sky above. Consistent with Karthigai Deepam celebrations described on the page, but the flame and pole are shown without any specific ritual being clearly visible.
