A large seated congregation of men fills a hall, most bare-chested with white sacred ash (vibhuti) smeared across their foreheads and upper arms, and many wearing rudraksha malas and white ceremonial necklaces. Some wear white dhotis and some have white cloths over shoulders. Their eyes are closed. Two large screens above display a robed figure on a stage, and a deep red curtain and gold decorations frame the back of the hall.
