A stage set for Dasara celebrations at Sripuram Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam, Hyderabad. A large golden throne with a canopy sits centre stage, unoccupied in this view, decorated with yellow and orange garlands. Flanking it are a golden peetha holding a small deity murti on the left and a larger silver deity murti with a crown on the right, plus a decorated golden vahana. Tiers of brass oil lamps (oil lamps) with red flowers fill the steps in front of the stage, and a triangular arrangement of lamps sits on a purple and orange cloth. Behind the stage, an orange backdrop shows a portrait of a smiling man in an orange turban, with Kannada text reading Dasara. Swags of white drapery hang overhead. No people are visible.
