Street-level photograph taken from a vehicle window of a roadside wall in a Tamil-speaking town. A yellow-painted wall carries a large mural of a smiling man wearing dark sunglasses, and a row of political and advertisement posters is pasted beside it. Above the wall hang red and blue shop signs advertising English-speaking classes and a 50% scholarship. A small framed portrait of a man with orange-saffron head covering and an ochre garment is fixed to a pole on the left, next to blue hand carts parked at the roadside. No people are visible in the scene.

November 19 20052005-11-19Street photograph of a pale green and white building wall painted with large portrait murals of a man with long dark hair, a white head wrap in one panel and an orange head wrap in another, and a readable Tamil text panel between them. A sign on the left reads Vasantha Nursing Home, a clinic. Two bicycles, one with a cargo cart, are parked on a dirt road in front of the wall. No people are visible apart from a partial figure at the left edge. The painted figures are depictions on the wall, and the man in the murals has long hair and a white or orange head wrap, so the appearance cues are partial. The page links these murals to a person, but appearance alone is not sufficient, so the identity is marked unsure.2005-11-13November 25 20062006-11-25June 25 20122012-06-25A street-side wall painted mint green with a yellow and red border, showing two large painted portrait panels. A central panel holds a Tamil text list. On the right, a painted man in an orange turban with a red forehead mark smiles, next to printed phone numbers and a painted portrait captioned as Paramahamsa Nithyanandar. Multi-storey buildings, palm trees and power lines stand behind the wall under a pale blue sky.2005-11-13A daytime street photo in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, showing a roadside median with a gold-coloured metal railing marked VELLORE ROUND TABLE-23. Several large billboards line the sidewalk: a green board with a woman in a teal sari and Tamil text, and pink and white boards with framed portraits and printed lettering. Behind them are tall trees, utility poles, saffron and other flags on poles, and shop buildings. A man in a white shirt rides a red motorcycle in the foreground at right, and a few people are partly visible behind the railing near the bicycles. In the foreground, yellow auto-rickshaws, parked bicycles and motorcycles, and a man in a white shirt on the right. Two tall vertical street banners hang from a utility pole; the nearer banner shows a saffron-clad figure with a wrapped orange head covering and raised hand against a glowing orange background, with Tamil lettering reading 'தியான சத்சங்கம்' (Dhyana Satsangam, meditation satsang). A second, smaller banner with a similar figure hangs further along. Men stand and ride motorbikes and a three-wheeler along the road under hazy skies and overhead wires. Only the banner figures are depicted; the depicted figure appears as a person depiction on a banner.2006-11-25Outdoor photo of a village building with blue and white painted signboards in Tamil script beside a green-trimmed doorway, under a large leafy tree.
