Dozens of young saffron-robed monks sit cross-legged on a white floor in a temple hall, each in front of a silver tray holding brass lamps, flowers and offerings, performing padapuja. Many wear white headbands, orange robes, and rudraksha malas. Behind them, seated devotees in white and grey shirts watch. At the right, a gilded deity murti and golden ornamental structures stand against the wall, and colourful striped bunting hangs from the ceiling.
