Beneath the canopy sits a small shrine-like stone or lingam-style structure garlanded with red and orange flower garlands, set on a red-cloth platform on a low rocky base. Scattered bushes, young trees and bare earth surround the area. No people are visible in the scene.2006-12-12A large, ancient banyan tree with sprawling horizontal limbs and many aerial prop roots dropping to the ground forms the main subject, its dense green canopy spreading across the frame. Beneath it, a circular raised stone platform surrounds the trunk base. At left, a green cloth-draped object and a red-and-white offering stand near a small shrine area. Two people in white clothing stand near the tree on the left, one in white with a red-trimmed garment. Sandy ground and white posts surround the sacred tree enclosure.2013-06-12 +1 copiesFebruary 05 20142014-02-05 +1 copiesSeptember 28 20142014-09-28June 16 20132013-06-16Photo 11726666June 16 20162016-06-16 +1 copiesPhoto 11725605 +1 copies
